Homeopathy is the vocation and passion of Camilla Sherr, FSHom (Honorary), PCH. Having graduated from The Finnish Institute of Homeopathy in 1994, she embarked on a journey driven by a lifelong curiosity about the mind-body connection in illness. After three years of study in her native Finland and two years of postgraduate studies in London, she expanded her horizons, living in the UK for nearly a decade before settling in Israel and Tanzania, East Africa. Living in Tanzania proved transformative; alongside her husband Jeremy, she co-founded ‘Homeopathy for Health in Africa,’ an NGO dedicated to treating HIV/AIDS with homeopathy, an experience that deeply shaped her both personally and professionally. Recognized for her outstanding contributions, she was awarded a Fellowship from the Society of Homeopaths in the UK (FSHom) in 2016. Beyond homeopathy, she finds joy in photography, pottery making, and skiing. She shares her life with Jeremy and their three children. More about her work can be found at https://www.camillasherrhomeopathy.com/ and www.homeopathyforhealthinafrica.org.

It was motherhood that propelled me to find homeopathy. Truthfully, I really didn’t know anything about it, other than it was natural and safe for babies. I had always been drawn to holistic medicine, like an internal compass. I asked around, was referred to an excellent Homoeopath/MD in town, and made an appointment. Although we had great success with our first remedies, myself included- I still didn’t quite “get it.” I didn’t comprehend the power of those little remedies until my son was born. My second labor was fast and furious and my son was born with the cord around his neck and in need of oxygen. Once he pinked up, he screamed. We rocked him, sang to him, gently massaged him. Nothing. A newborn scream for anything longer than oh, two seconds, is nerve-wracking, but this went on for minutes. My midwife asked if I had any Aconite, a commonly indicated remedy for fear and shock. Luckily, I did. Within a second of putting a few small globules of this homeopathic remedy on his tongue his screaming ceased, and he looked into our eyes for the first time. I can say now, looking back, that this was my conversion moment.
After this seemingly miraculous experience, I bought my first home-prescribing book (Miranda Castro’s The Complete Homeopathy Handbook) and started reading and experimenting with reprioritization (the process of finding remedies by cross-referencing symptoms).
I was amazed when I found that Spongia improved my son’s croupy cough overnight. And more amazed still that a dose of Antimonium tartaricum cleaned up that goopy, wet cough that rattled in his lungs. I had to know more, and having decided that I would not return back to full-time teaching, I began to look for homeopathic training programs.
Initially I studied with Nancy Frederick, CCH RS (Hom) at the Baylight Center for Homeopathy. I went on to further studies at the Dynamis School for Advanced Homeopathy with Jeremy Sherr, as well as occasional other seminars with Louis Klein, Farokh Master, and others.
I’ve been in private practice since 2011, but very quickly integrated my first love for teaching. I taught clinical skills, philosophy and case analysis at the Baylight Center for Homeopathy 2016-2020, started my podcast, 1M: a Homeopath’s Podcast in 2016, and joined the faculty at the Academy for Homeopathy Education in 2019.
Teaching and practicing homeopathy together have rooted within me the realization that healing is learning, and learning is healing.
Homeopathy Changes Lives. I’VE EXPERIENCED IT IN MY OWN LIFE, I WITNESS IT IN THE LIVES OF MY PATIENTS. Whether it’s recovering from the flu in half the time, healing from an injury without pain killers, resolving an old hurt, or feeling a lift out of depression… homeopathy meets you where you’re at.
There’s nothing more powerful than feeling the results of your own healing potential.

Desirée Brazelton, CCH is a Certified, Classical Homeopath, who has been seeing clients in her private practice since 2008. Desirée is a contributing author to Homeopathy Today, and has contributed to the American Homeopath. She is co-founder of the Prometheus Homeopathic Institute along with Je Norbu Huenecke. Desirée is a director, mentor and core faculty member at PHI. Desirée found homeopathy during a search for a different way of caring for her children and continues to work to bring homeopathy to families and people of all ages across the globe through individual sessions, teaching, writing and leading retreats.
Desirée writes in her own words her homeopathy journey:
I stumbled upon homeopathy almost twenty years ago when I was pregnant with my first child. I was fortunate enough to make the acquaintance of someone who was a student of homeopathy at that time and while I didn’t see a homeopath until a year later, that meeting forever changed my life.
I am a mother of three daughters, homeschool mom, athlete, cancer survivor, teacher and homeopath. I love working with people who have looked everywhere else and haven’t yet found healing. I love working with people who know that there is something deeper to heal and they are willing to go there. I love working with cancer patients and survivors because the emotional and physical traumas that go along with the territory are very real.
I love walking alongside people as they heal, grieve, express and transform. I am so grateful to have stumbled upon this incredible, healing art of homeopathy and am able to share it with you.
I am co-founder of the Prometheus Homeopathic Institute where I teach students who are training to become homeopaths, practitioners who want to deepen their understanding and clinical students who are working with clients. At PHI, we teach that the first remedy is love, and that is the way I practice as well.
